American producer and remixer Dave Audé has sprinkled his magic touch on another song to once again showcase his masterful talents inside the studio. The Grammy-winning artist has fused in his own sounds to The Trash Mermaids‘ first single called “Cryptic Love” taken from their forthcoming album ‘Evil Twin‘.
The remix features a brilliant combination of funky beats and oscillating synths, which brings the groove right to its listeners. Alongside Scarlett Blu‘s striking vocals, this track possesses the right amount of energy that would be suitable under any club environment. From start to finish, the top-notch quality and superb sounds truly show, making Audé’s remix an absolute must-hear production for any music enthusiast.
Speaking about his latest remix, Audé stated:
“I actually discovered The Trash Mermaids during one of their shows at The Whisky A Go Go in LA last year and their lead singer Scarlett Blu reminded me of Kate Bush. Playful, eccentric , gothic and very unique. I reached out to her after the show and see if we could work together.”
For over two decades now, Audé has earned a reputation of being one of the industry’s top-tier producers, DJs, and remixers. Whether it is pop, rock, hip-hop, or electronic, this musical mastermind has continuously shown his creativity and versatility through his productions and as a result, he has won a few Grammy awards including one for his remix of Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk”.
Audé has also successfully worked with many of the music scene’s most prominent names such as U2, Coldplay, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, among others. Audé believes:
“The real focus is on the artist and the song. I am more dedicated to producing quality music and seeing a record be successful than simply completing a contract.”
