Dutch producer Maarten Vorwerk is certainly one of the scenes most interesting artists, with a mysterious reputation as the most famous ghost producer in the electronic music industry. While information about which releases he has ghost produced remains relatively unknown, he is reported to be behind a large number of the most successful releases to hit the scene, particularly in the big room house genre. On Friday, the notorious producer was invited to provide the guest mix for Tiësto‘s 562nd episode of his iconic Club Life radio.
The guest mix, while only 15 minutes long, is highly diverse, spanning a range of genres and years. Kicking off with iconic anthem ‘Oldschool Sound‘ by Yves V and Chuckie, the mix instantly amplifies energy. Including a number of other sensational hits including Danny Avila‘s ‘Tronco‘ and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike‘s ‘Wakanda‘, Maarten Vorwerk quickly moves on to IDs, dropping a number of future hits. Finishing up with one of his own releases in collaboration with Mazare, ‘You’re The One‘ featuring vocals from Matthew Steeper, a chirpy future bass anthem, before switching to high-powered hardstyle monster, Hypnose‘s remix of ‘Freefall‘, Maarten Vorwerk truly covers a wide array of genres in the mix.
