An unlikely pairing from either side of the Atlantic, the production duo of VAVO are looking set to push their limits in 2018 with the flurry of releases that they have in store after their March brand relaunch. Comprising of Briton Alden Martin and Vancouver based producer Jesse Fischer, the duo have already made quite a mark on the scene with releases on Tiesto‘s Musical Freedom, Hardwell‘s Revealed Recordings and Ultra. What’s more is that aside from top notch collaborations with the likes of John Christian for their latest track ‘How Low’ and RXTRO on previous releases, the VAVO duo have received unparalleled support from a myriad of artists in the industry, including heavyweights such as Benny Benassi, Tiësto, Tritonal, David GuettaNicky Romero, Ummet Ozcan, Morgan Page and Dada Life.

It would then not be surprising to know that the duo will assuredly be looking to emulate the same success with their upcoming release titled ‘Sleeping Alone’ – a track which marks their first release since the effort to re-brand their logo and outlook. Having previously touted them as producers to watch out for, we trust that the latest release will be a solid testament to the very reason as to why the industry sees potential in the VAVO duo’s abilities and adeptness at the production desk.

Kicking off with mellifluous layering and chirpy vocals, ‘Sleeping Alone’ becomes primed to be a hit when the vocals take their first twist and turn. As the slapping trap beats pick up the pace of the song, it breaks seamlessly into an exciting and charged-up ‘drop’ that marks VAVO’s production at its finest. One of those where the track’s vocals and the break make for a memorable listening experience, ‘Sleeping Alone’ has it all – sumptuous but short guitar solos that birth the drop, swirly vocals and a thumping drop – that makes it a stellar release from one of the most enthusing production duos of the scene.

You can pre-order ‘Sleeping Alone’ on iTunes here through KESS Records. You can pre-save it on Spotify here.
