

BREAKING: Dance music icon Avicii passes away at 28
In a news that has shocked the Dance Music community world over, Swedish DJ and legendary producer Tim Bergling, better known by his Avicii moniker, was found dead in Muscat, Oman at the age of 28. While reporting about the producer’s sad demise remains on the rise, it has been confirmed by multiple sources that the producer has in fact been found dead, removing all doubts as to whether this is a running hoax or not.
Avicii has been one of the most iconic artists of the era of Dance music’s rise into the mainstream with charting hits such as ‘Levels’ and ‘I Could Be the One’ with Nicky Romero. While remembrances from fellow producers and DJs are coming quick on Twitter, there is still no news regarding the cause of the young artist’s death. The statement from his representatives reads as follows:
“He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given.”
