Whenever an artist launches a new imprint, it’s extremely important that the first few releases are nailed and become iconic, and with ‘2 White Lies‘, Outlaw label owner Harrison delivered another gem with the help of Dutch producer and friend Kill The Buzz. For the occasion, the British artist involved fellow countryman and UK’s X Factor sensation Leon Mallet, who added an additional layer of magic to the track with his unique voice. The trio, who each have very distinct and unique talents, blended seamlessly in this collaborative effort, setting a solid foundation for what we should be expecting next on the newly founded label Outlaw.

You may remember Harrison for some of his past releases on Revealed Recordings and collaborations with some of the greatest artists like Steve Aoki, David Guetta, Laidback Luke. His latest single ‘Blinding My Vision’, the inaugural release on his newly-minted Outlaw Label, which saw the artist both produce and sing on the track, proves his versatility and that he is no one-trick pony. It’s also not the first time Harrison and Kill The Buzz linked up on a production, as in 2016 they released their single ‘Once Upon A Time’ on Hardwell’s label Revealed Recordings, which gained over 5.5 million streams and counting.

This new release steers away again from what we’ve heard from the English artist in the past, and takes a fresh topical approach, with an uplifting tropical drum beat, catchy vocals flecked with sunshine melodies and toplines that builds before an edgy drop that makes use of the chopped vocals creatively. It’s quite tricky to contain this track within a certain genre, as the track showcases the artists’ true diversity when it comes to production, crafting music propelled by a cocktail of dance, electronica, and radio-ready pop.
