Having recently been crowned as the best-selling big room artist in the world, fan favourite Hardwell has announced that he will be launching a new label called Gemstone. Promising to expand the variety of music released by his imprints, Gemstone is set to provide fans with material ranging from electro-pop to deep, future house and future bass grooves. Revealed has been releasing top quality big room and progressive house since it was founded in 2010, and has been going stronger than ever just announcing that it will be reserving an entire stage for Mysteryland.
Hardwell will keep working on Revealed Recordings and use his experience to guide the new label to success. Gemstone seeks to fill the gap with new artists and rising talent, keeping in line with Hardwell’s second hour of his Hardwell on Air show ‘Off The Record‘, which will be used as a platform for the Gemstone releases going forward.
Talking about the launch, Hardwell stated:
“There is so much good music being made nowadays and the way to release music has become a lot easier. With the platform, team and structure we have built with Revealed, we want to take the next step with the label with building and branding Gemstone. We will not only be servicing the club/festival sound but also focusing on electronic music that appeals to a much bigger audience. I’m excited with this new step for my label and can’t wait to work with all the amazing new talent out there!”
The first release promises to be a good one with Rich Edwards having the pleasure of launching the label with a vocal track featuring chilled grooves which will no doubt set high expectations for future releases.
