Khalid announces Martin Garrix collaboration

Having already collaborated with some of the world’s most high-profile electronic artists including Marshmello and Calvin Harris, American singer/songwriter Khalid is well and truly immersed in the scene. With a flawless track record, it is undoubtedly clear that Khalid’s hypnotic vocals make the perfect pairing with euphoric electronic melodies. Due to the caliber of previous collaborations, fans had been eagerly awaiting another move from Khalid back towards dance music, and he has just delighted fans by revealing that he does in fact have another track in the works, a collaboration with Dutch superstar Martin Garrix.

Last year Khalid’s collaboration with Marshmello, ‘Silence‘, became an instant viral hit, and lingered as one of the most played tracks around the world for month after month. Having racked up over 520 million Spotify streams, the track’s influence is undeniable, and it comes as no surprise that it was one of the most played tracks at festivals around the world last year. As Khalid’s all-time most popular track, it makes perfect sense for him to delve back into the electronic music scene, so his announcement about the upcoming collaboration will not come as a surprise to many.

While Khalid refused to provide any concrete details on a release date, he did suggest that the track is due to drop very soon, no doubt ahead of this Summer’s festival season. Looking back at previous collaborations, the upcoming track could take the scene by storm once again, and could become this Summer’s biggest anthem.
