Home Uncategorized Kryder says goodbye to Sosumi Records and launches new label Kryteria Records

A prolific next chapter in the English DJ’s exciting career, Groove House prodigy Kryder announces plans to close down his globally acclaimed label Sosumi Records. With the labels 100th release coming courtesy of The Cube Guys with ‘Sax Delivery‘, Sosumi Records will go down as one of the most respectable dance music imprints to crop up within the past few years. An exciting new chapter, Kryder announces the creation of his new label Kryteria Records. This next project will be a collaboration with dance colossus Spinnin’ Records.

Sosumi Records has celebrated many exciting milestones over the years, including many groundbreaking releases, and was instrumental in ushering new talent into the scene, including the powerhouses Will K and Corey James. The label has also held many public parties and made many exquisite appearances at major events like ADE and Miami Music Week. From 2015 to 2016, Sosumi quietly gained huge traction within the scene and was a unique outlet in that the label offered free music to the public. The label held the distinction ” The World’s No.1 Free Dance Music Label”, and also released notable groove house tracks like ‘Funkin‘ by Olin Batista, ‘House Nation‘ by Tom Tyger, and ‘Dogs on Acid‘ by Kryder himself.

With Cartel Recordings still in service, it will be interesting to see how Kryder will balance both musical outlets and maintain a separation in style and poise. His brand new label Kryteria Records will be flying under the wing of Spinnin’ Records, which is also the case for Cartel Recordings.
