Yet while the music producer may have only debuted as a solo artist since 2014, KSHMR has already garnered support all around the world has he constantly laces dance charts with his exciting and high-tempo productions. The DJs impressive status as a heavyweight on the music scene has led Niles to collaborate with some of the industries most recognised music producers including Bassjackers, Rehab and Dutch sensation Hardwell. Now back to lace the charts once again, the Dharma Worldwide founder has teamed up with Dutch producer Mark Sixma to drop their brand new remix called ‘Gladiator‘.
In 2000, film director Ridley Scott produced the spectacular motion picture Gladiator, accompanying the film with one of the most iconic theme songs produced by renowned composer Hanz Zimmer. Now with the production talent of KSHMR and Sixma combined, the pair have turned the nostalgic theme song into an explosive club filler. Belting beats right out of the gate the ‘Gladiator remix’ instantly catches your attention with dominant kicks and snaps. Que the original vocals from Golden Globe winner Lisa Gerrard as her enchanting words glisten across the soft break of the track. Nostalgia aside, step in Niles and Mark Sixma as the duo build the tempo through a series of drums igniting the tracks build up. However, it is the drop that really gets the blood pumping with its powerful piano chords, beautiful synth design and that signature KSHMR touch keeping the original productions character well and truly alive.
