Up High – Don’t Matter

After teaming up with New Dehli’s Dropstradamus for an exhilarating single last year, Up High (a.k.a George Koutalidis) is going solo on his latest single, ‘Don’t Matter‘. Taking a step back from the Future Bass world, Koutalidis delivers a brand-new, uplifting Future House anthem.

After the intro, the track begins with a pitched-down vocal and low-pass filtered piano, with the quick introduction of a warm bass, before transitioning to the build-up and drop. Warm pianos, bright leads and vivid hats and claps give the drop a clean, whole sound. Following a similar formula to the first break, the second break introduces brass horn stabs in conjunction with a light-hearted arp. The breakdown boasts festival-friendly claps that will get crowds clapping along, before transitioning to the drop once again.

His last collaboration, ‘Now I Know‘ with Dropstradamus and Project Nightfall, earned more than 18,700 plays on SoundCloud and 260,000 Spotify streams. In addition to this, his last solo release ‘U Are‘ netted an impressive 14,700 plays on SoundCloud. Despite a humble following, Koutalidis has put together an impressive resume. Keep an eye out for Up High in the near future.
