Fedde Le Grand ft. Kris Kiss – The Gaming Beat

One of electronic music’s most renowned names Fedde Le Grand has teamed up with the folks at DJ Mag and BBIN, Asia’s biggest iGaming software supplier, to support The Gaming Beat Charity with three new tracks, the first of which has just been released. The three track campaign is set to support a number of charities through the Top 100 DJs Foundation, with the first track titled ‘The Gaming Beat‘ kicking off the project in style.

The ‘Put Your Hands Up For Detroit‘ producer blends a combination of genres through the track. Following the customary intro beat that gives an early indication of what is to follow, Fedde brings in a smooth synth chord progression, comparable to deadmau5’s signature style. This blends into the main break of the track, with the introduction of Kris Kiss‘s infectious vocals carrying over to the build up. Although the build up is somewhat typical – snare-driven beats and looped vocals add depth to the build – the drop hits with a unique punch that defines the track. With this diverse combination of bass house and progressive synths, a truly unique track has been created that only reiterates the skill and quality Fedde Le Grand applies to each of his releases.

Providing a starter track for the three track initiative, the campaign is led by Le Grand over the following three months, with the target of 1 million collective downloads set to trigger a $90,000 donation from BBIN to the Top 100 DJs Foundation. With a strong groove and a constant energy, ‘The Gaming Beat‘ is the perfect track to kick off the campaign.
