Tiësto dedicates entire ClubLife episode to Avicii

Somebody in the dance music industry who needs no introduction is the one and only Tiësto. Considered to be the godfather and main influencer of dance music, he’s been around for decades. Playing shows in every country in the world, premiering countless influential tunes and unique collaborations as well as having his own radio show CLUBLIFE which reaches countless fans around the world. He’s released concept CLUBLIFE albums based on cities that inspire him the most. And this week’s episode 578 of the show saw the entirety of it pay tribute to the late Avicii a.k.a Tim Bergling.

Tiësto was heartbroken by the news of Avicii’s passing as the two shared a tight history together: Back when Bergling was first starting out in his career, he used to live in Tiësto’s house in Ibiza and was his opening act for one of the biggest club nights in the world Privilege. 

The dance music world is still dealing with the loss of such a monumental artist, his reach of inspiration has clearly touched millions and recovery seems to be a while away. People still mourning his loss, dedicating performances and songs to Avicii, fans globally can only hope that they’ll cope soon and enjoy the legacy left behind by Avicii, his music.
