Marshmello releases video for new single ‘You Can Cry’

This year has been a steady journey uphill for Marshmello who is one of the most mysterious yet well-known acts of today’s scene. Highlights of his year included a monumental performance at Ultra Music Festival in Miami earlier this year, and he’s now back with the release of a brand new music video for his collaboration with British pop sensation James Arthur who recently starred in an episode of Marshmello’s YouTube cooking show, and Memphis based rapper Juicy J.

The video opens up with an alternation between a set of people from all different shapes, backgrounds, and ages arguing and dressed in white in a completely white room with a scene of James Arthur walking through a rainy black area. The contrast of the 2 scenes continues throughout the video which may represent the struggle of humanity today and Marshmello’s hope that good music and happy vibes are the keys to solving most of today’s problems.
