Regarded as one of the best in the business in the electronic dance music industry, there is a reason why Dutch star Hardwell flutters across the festival circuit year on year. As Tomorrowland Festival returned for its second weekend of music prowess, so too did the two-time world number one DJ with Hardwell taking to the main stage once again. Already stunning the festival crowd with an epic performance the week before, the Dutchman made no hesitation in delivering another spectacular performance yet again drilled heavy with basslines, beats, and the finest selection of electronic dance bangers serving up a platter of energy and euphoria.

Always a stand-out performer, Hardwell’s set certainly entertained Tomorrowland attendees while contesting itself a place for the festival performance of the weekend. The Dutchman’s ability to craft outstanding mashups with effortless transitions between tracks was highlighted throughout his one-hour performance. Fusing together the work from top-tier DJs such as W&W, Zedd, Mightfools, Sebastian Ingrosso, and MAKJ resulted in mashups like ‘Live The Night vs Footrocker vs Fall In To the Sky‘ and ‘Trabanca vs Apollo‘, overall proving a winning formula for the DJs performance.

With Hardwell dropping several new IDs in his weekend one set, the DJ was not short of several more IDs during his time on the centre stage. There were more Hardwell IDs, Qunitino, and an incoming ID from Husman & SaberZ. Ultimately, however, it was the intense energy and uplifting Hardwell spirit that drew the crowds attention with all eyes focused on the main man throughout the set. Commanding the crowd with his KSHMR collaboration – ‘Power‘, the mighty ‘Big Room Never Dies‘ track with Blasterjaxx and turning up the heat with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike vs W&W – ‘Crowd Control‘, Hardwell left Tomorrowland with a performance they will not be forgetting for a long time.
