One of electronic music’s most exciting up-and-coming producers at the moment, Kosling, looks to follow up on his impressive, recently released single ‘Believe‘ , which has reached over 1 million views on YouTube since it was uploaded to Proximity. The relatively unknown producer has hit back with a stunning take on German superstar Thomas Gold’s recent commercially-oriented single, ‘Begin Again‘, which has already received a remix from British producer Tom Staar. Whilst not too much is widely known about Kosling, fans will quickly be able to get excited for his releases after hearing his recent productions, especially considering that his tracks have received support from some of electronic music’s biggest artists, such as on Tiësto’s Club Life radio show.
Kosling’s energetic take on the track elevates it to new heights, combining the already-happy and catchy vibes of the original with uplifting chord progressions and euphoric drops that are really reminiscent of many iconic progressive house tracks that have been released in recent years. The track’s break keeps some of the piano that was in the original, and adds arps and pads that perfectly help to add emotion and atmosphere to the track. The powerful vocals from the original fit perfectly with this remix, adding to the emotion and the energy of the track and helping build up to the drop. This remix adds a whole new dimension to the track, and is absolutely certain to become a mainstay in club and festival sets all summer long.
Kosling’s remix of Thomas Gold’s track ‘Begin Again‘ is one of many amazing progressive house tracks that will have come out in 2018. Joining releases from the likes of Third Party, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman, and Axwell Λ Ingrosso who have dropped new tracks over recent weeks, Kosling’s contribution to progressive house will certainly not go unoticed.
