While certain rumors and mixed comments did their rounds on the internet before anything concrete could be said, Dance music’s legendary Swedish House Mafia are now looking poised to make a much awaited full-fledged comeback. Whereas previously the talks were mostly limited to a prospective tour and some performances, Steve Angello has recently come out to make things a tad bit more exciting for all those following this thread.

The ‘Human’ producer recently sat down to talk with leading Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter and mentioned instances of the trio having sat together in the studio. While this altogether does not confirm things to come, the excitement is surely there as Steve remarked that the trio are ‘raring to go’. Most would agree that this is certainly the next step in the stunning return of the Swedish House Mafia trio.  As the three production virtuosos look to build on their impressive performances, the idea of getting in the studio and packing some brand new tunes for their future shows is undoubtedly on the cards. What the future holds for the ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ hit-makers and their eager fans is somewhat uncertain but the positive buzz that has surrounded this story since their magnetic comeback at Ultra Miami 2018 is certainly weighing it to continue on a high.

But amidst all the hype about the trio, one must not forget the impressive and respect worthy work that Angello is doing in his solo career. The interview with Dagens Nyheter reflects the voice of a very conscious and aware Steve Angello – one who seems to have put the reunion noise aside and is keenly focused on brining music back to its deserved pedestal with his work. Perhaps, one could also wish that his solo work may have its own influence on the output that the Swedish House Mafia trio may conjure in the coming years.
