Teri Miko & Madoc – Feels Real (Feat. Elle Vee)

It has been a sensational year for Indian music producers gaining attention on the international stage but one artist, in particular, has long established herself as one of India’s most prominent dance music producers and that is Teri Miko. Over the past decade, Teri’s influence has spread like wildfire on the bass music scene while enhancing her household name status. Known for dropping her signature high-energy bass sounds such as ‘Kolavo‘ while delivering exhilarating perfofmances, Teri has not only accumulated an international audience but earned the support from fellow industry producers. In her latest production out on Spinnin’ Records, Teri Miko joins forces with co-producer Madoc and the duo deliver an unexpected track that breaks new ground for the pair.

It is not the bass-unfused track fans would expect to hear from either Teri or Madoc but rather a pop-influenced production thanks to the silky vocals from singer Elle Vee – an artist who boasts a collaboration resume with the likes of Benny Benassi and Dzeko & Torres. Titled ‘Feels Real‘, the track is an exploration of finding something that is genuine in a world of superficiality and Elle’s vocals express the message in the purest of forms. On working with Elle Vee, Tero said:

“I totally believe in freedom of expression when it comes to collaborations so we never gave Elle any references or restrictions. I really don’t know how but she felt my mood at that moment and wrote the lyrics of the girl who is a little lost, sometimes insecure and definitely looking for a lot of answers.”

Together along with Elle Vee by their side, Teri and Madoc have showcased their ability and diversity to chart waters in other music genres with a successful end product. It will not be long before Teri Miko finds herself booked on the biggest of stages around the globe having already shown what she is capable of at the likes of Sunburn Festival and Supersonic.
