Treyy G & Klave – So Weak (SØDR Remix)

Swedish DJ/Producer SØDR is back with a brand-new ElectroPop remix of Treyy G & Klave’s ‘So Weak’ out now on disco:wax (Sony). With some of his best work notching up more than 100,000 streams, Ole Söderberg is unquestionably a talented hit-maker – and his latest work is set to reaffirm that.

Speaking about his background and inspiration Söderberg cites his parents as significant factors:

“Raised with both parents being music teachers has been a life lesson I strongly appreciate and feel thankful for. With my mother being a violin teacher and my dad a classical guitar teacher, I quickly started to understand the value of great arrangements and melodies. I work with melodies first in many productions I start out with.”

Kicking off with a smooth, low-pass-filtered guitar and Joe Cardigan‘s soft vocals, the two eventually conjoin with a warm piano before Cardigan’s double-tracked vocals kick off the pre-chorus. The chorus reveals itself with its radio-friendly Pop sound. Bright, layered lead synths and, cymbals and claps all combine to deliver a rich, vibrant sound. Seamlessly blending smooth, tranquil vibes with a gleaming, upbeat atmosphere, SØDR manages to give the original track a whole new perspective.
