SLANDER & RIOT – You Don’t Even Know Me

One of the most diverse and creative duos out there is, without a doubt, SLANDER. The two Americans from Los Angeles have released tracks in pretty much all kinds of bass music there are. From happy trap tunes in ‘Gud Vibrations’ with NGHTMRE to recently released dubstep banger ‘Kneel Before Me’ with Crankdat – SLANDER can do it all. Now, the two have flipped there sound once again. SLANDER teamed up with newcomer duo RIOT from Israel for their collab ‘You Don’t Even Know Me’.

‘You Don’t Even Know Me’ is an emotional vocal bass ballad, that has a bittersweet touch to it. The drop is completely different from SLANDER’s previous releases:  It follows a smooth transition from the melodic bassline, accompanied by matching vocals. However, the second drop turns up the tempo a little bit, which make the track a perfect track for both your Spotify rotation as well as dance floors around the world.  It is clear to see and hear that the best of two worlds came together here. The capability of SLANDER to produce various sounds combined with the huge talent of the upcoming duo RIOT make a perfect symphony that is ‘You Don’t Even Know Me’.

The single got released on Monstercat, one of the biggest and most influential labels in the bass music scene. ‘You Don’t Even Know Me’ also serves as a teaser for SLANDER’s upcoming EP ‘The Headbanger’s Ball’, coming in November this year.
