In the latest episode of “Actually Me”, an online show by international men’s magazine GQ, Marshmello took to social media to surprise his fans by going undercover and answering many of their questions. In the show, celebrities interact with fans while going undercover under various monikers, across social media channels like Twitter, Reddit and YouTube. Previous episodes saw celebs like Jennifer Lawrence, 50 Cent and Post Malone, but on the latest episode of “Actually Me”, fans got to know more about the masked superstar DJ.

Marshmello answered to all questions in typical Marshmello-style, as he did not really speak throughout the entire video. Instead, he had a computer talk for him, but the actually shared a lot of fun facts with his fanbase. He jokes around about how he was born in a grocery store and about him driving the super secret ‘mello-mobile’ for a car. Furthermore, he revealed that he only uses Ableton software and that he even used his own (pitched-up) vocals in his smash hit ‘Alone’, which he produced in a mere 4 hours.

About halfway through the video, Marshmello is being asked about the different music genres and he answered that by defining his productions as future bounce, but heavily influenced by super future bass. Also, he would love to team up with Post Malone, so that fans can call him Marshmalone and he is a big fan of Epic’s popular online video game ‘Fortnite’.
