Over the years Blasterjaxx have cemented themselves as one of the most prominent duos in the electronic music industry. Their discography is truly staggering, spanning a number of sub-genres and encompassing a number of different influences. Despite having risen to fame through their big room anthems, the pair have always shown an enjoyment for experimenting with a wide variety of genres. At this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Blasterjaxx invited media to listen to their upcoming album on a boat ride around the city.

Due for release in 2019, the album spans a broad spectrum of influences, encompassing a number of different styles and sounds. One of the most notable tracks on the album is a hard-hitting collaboration with Example, which certainly packs a punch. According to Blasterjaxx, this collaboration is set to be released as a single ahead of the album’s main release. The first half of the album is abundant with addictive melodic anthems, while the second half is largely more experimental. Later tracks include influences from hardstyle and techno, showcasing the duo’s adaptability in music production.

While an official release date has not yet been revealed, the album looks set to be one of the biggest releases of 2019. The diversity of the album ensures that it will have no problem taking the spotlight and will prove popular with fans around the globe.
