SoundCloud expands Premier program to more musicians

SoundCloud has just recently announced that their SC Premier programme that used to be invite only is now being extended to Soundcloud pro and SoundCloud pro unlimited creators with no additional cost. Initially, Premier was being offered to thousands and is now being opened to hundreds of thousands of users. This opens a new gateway for upcoming producers whether it be rap or electronic music to advance and grow their sound.

Founded in 2007, SC has been providing artists with the tools they need to become successful and forward their brand. With over 180 million tracks in 190 countries, SC’s reach has become large. The expansion of SoundCloud Premier being offered to Pro and Pro unlimited creators SoundCloud Pro and Pro Unlimited subscriptions offer creators allows the usage of cloud storage, great analytics, advanced tools to help artists shape their music to their vision and lastly, the ability to make money.

SC is home to more than 20 million artists creating their music. It is home to many current rappers and electronic music artists such as Chance the Rapper, Kali Uchis, Lil Uzi Vert, $UICIDEBOY$, Lil Yachty, Alina Baraz, Towkio, Louis the Child, blackbear, MadeinTYO, Metro Boomin.

Creators with at least 5,000 plays in the past month in SC Eligible countries will receive notifications of their upgrade. This includes countries such as the United States, UK, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, New Zealand.

This opens the doors to a larger portion of creators across the world trying to take their music to the next level. By empowering the independent artists of today it allows new voices the chance to be heard.
