With the Swedish supergroup back in action amidst some hear-say verbal confirmation, fans have been gearing up and reliving plenty of iconic Swedish House Mafia moments. From their globally sold-out festival appearances to iconic moments like their Ultra 2013 & 2018 sets, Swedish House Mafia has successfully defined an entire generation of electronic music listeners and that’s pretty globally recognized. It’s one of the trio’s largest sets however that amidst all the tour reunion talk has spurred listeners on to commemorate the group at the height of their power in electronic music and it’s all thanks to SoundCloud user Salsana.

The hero in disguise has completely remastered SHM’s iconic Madison Square Garden show. It was a show that went down in the record books for not only the trio but the dance scene as a whole as it smashed two barriers for electronic music at the legendary venue. Not only did the show sell out the 20,000 capacity in roughly 9 minutes, but on that night Swedish House Mafia became the first ever electronic music headliner to play MSG. The two impressive statistics combined together make for some staggering information that truly reminds fans of how much power and influence the Swede’s had on the westward expansion and commercialization of dance music.

Relive the moment and take a listen to the remastered version of the iconic live set below:
