Tchami – Aurra/Shades

Home Uncategorized Tchami – Aurra/Shades

The godfather of the future house movement, Tchami, has returned, and this time he’s delivered a two-track solo EP by the name of Aurra/Shades. Undoubtedly one of music’s most pioneering producers in recent years, the Pardon My French superstar has amassed a huge global fanbase on account of slick house weapons like ‘Untrue and ‘Promesses.’

In more recent time, the Parisian DJ has toured worldwide with bass maestro Malaa as the two have formed a collaborative duo project known as ‘Tchami X Malaa‘ and delivered their ‘No Redemption’ tour to various festivals including Creamfields, The Steel Yard London, and the 20th anniversary of Ultra Music Festival in Miami.

The new tracks show Tchami free of the Malaa shackles, and as such, his music takes on a much more melodic, and disco-led feel rather than the heavy productions we have seen in the shape of anthems like ‘Summer 99.’ With Donnie Sloan & Ricky Ducati tackling vocals on ‘Shades’, you can hear both tracks below and let us know your thoughts in the comments!
