Martin Garrix – Yottabyte

Home Uncategorized Martin Garrix – Yottabyte

What a week this is set to be. ADE is kicking off, plenty of events are getting under way, and new EPs and tracks are dropping all over the place. Undoubtably one of the biggest EPs to drop is Martin Garrix‘s, with the Dutch superstar DJ/producer releasing 5 tracks over 5 days. Day 2 has just passed, and track 2 has just dropped, and this one has held its place firmly in Garrix’s sets across the past few months. ‘Yottabyte‘ is here, and it goes OFF!

You might feel like you’ve heard of this one before, but could be confusing it for a recent track from the Dutchman. ‘Byte‘ was released in 2017 in collaboration with young rising producer Brooks, and many questioned Garrix’s contribution to the track, given how much it sounds like Brooks earlier releases. The signature Brooks style, however, has clearly influenced Martin Garrix and ‘Yottabyte‘ shows that in spectacular fashion. Garrix has taken the heavy melodic future house sounds and created something incredible in this new track. The ability that the 22-year-old is displaying in these tracks is what sets him apart, and his phenomenal consistency across different genres, such as in this particularly set of releases, will elevate him closer to legendary status. ‘Yottabyte‘s bouncy feel-good sound contrasts the heavier club sound of his collaboration with Blinders that was released on Monday titled ‘Breach (Walk Alone)‘. You can’t argue that, whether you like his music or not, the skill behind Garrix’s craft is impeccable, and the following three releases this week prior to ‘Yottabyte‘ are set to display that skill to the fullest.

Check out ‘Yottabyte‘ for yourself below, and keep on top of all things Martin Garrix with out dedicated Garrix feed here, which will follow the Dutchman during Amsterdam Dance Event, such as his two shows over the weekend.
