Alan Walker has had a triumphant year, having dropped a number of globally successful hits over the last few months including ‘Diamond Heart‘ and ‘Ignite‘. Over the summer he travelled around the globe performing at a number of major festivals and winning over audiences every single time. His next move will see him step away from behind the decks to instead judge upcoming talent. Yesterday, the Norwegian producer took to Twitter to announce that he is set to be a judge on a brand new Chinese EDM talent show Rave Now.
In the tweet, he mentioned the potential housed in the Chinese market, which is known to be one of the locations where support for electronic music is growing exponentially. He also spoke about his excitement to work alongside fellow musician Lay Zhang who is also set to judge talent on the show. Rave Now could be set to aid in the discovery of the next biggest talents to hit the electronic music industry, making the competition even more exciting.
