The Chainsmokers to drop new single tomorrow

Famed for their signature sound that sways between indie, progressive and future pop realms, The Chainsmokers have evolved into some of the most dominating artists in today’s industry. Come Friday, the production duo favour back to their roots with a brand new single out to complete the ‘Sick Boy‘ album. More specifically, much of their commercial success stems from their powerful stream of releases from 2016, and fans can expect a tune that revisits some of the sounds they’ve become so familiar with. As a matter of fact, The Chainsmokers took to twitter promising that if you liked ‘All We Know‘ and ‘Inside Out’ “you’re gonna love this.”

Regarding the little teaser they shared on their feed, an icy visual pairs along with a vocoded vocal that’s nothing short of ethereal, anthemic and nostalgic to any long-time Chainsmokers fan. Driven by a melody resemblant to that of their earlier single and album namesake ‘Sick Boy‘, the teaser hints at a promising forthcoming production expected to play a powerful role in the current musical climate.
