Rising through the ranks of the growing and bumbling Parisian nightlife, French Dance music superstar and one of music’s global faces David Guetta has certainly set unfathomable standards in high highs of his career to lay down the foundation of today’s DJs and producers. While recent times have seen him gather stiff competition from fellow producers on benign stages such as DJ Mag lists and listings, no one can deny that there remained a time when Guetta absolutely ruled the airwaves as well as the charts. To gather the highlights and anecdotes of this journey’s very nascent stages, David Guetta was recently in an intimate conversation with Radio FG host and presenter Antoine Baduel.

The two found themselves at the iconic Palace, which is the legendary Parisian club from the late 80s and early 90s. It also happens to be the venue where Guetta began to ply his trade as a performer behind the decks. The Frenchman goes at length about his beginnings and the rise of the electronic music scene in its more refined format in the clubs of Paris. Talking about his other projects, Guetta sheds light on the top notch collaborations he created with the likes of Sia, The Black Eyed Pas, Nikki Minaj, Chris Brown and Chris Willis. The video really puts into perspective the massive changes that David Guetta has been a spectator to in the industry and showcases his rise over the past 25 years.
