Future Lion, Silja Rós – More Of You

Iceland-based artist, Anton, better knwon by his stage name; Future Lion, has teamed up with Silja Rós to deliver their new Future Bass single; ‘More Of You’. Music runs in Anton’s blood, with his grandfather being a composer, music teacher and Yale University graduate. He was also one the founders of Harpa, Concert hall in Iceland.

Drawing inspiration from Zedd, Grey & Hailee Steinfeld’s Platinum-selling single; ‘Starving’, the track channels a similar vibe, while maintaining its own identity. ‘More Of You’ kicks off with a mellow guitar melody, accompanied by the gentle vocals heard throughout the track. The track slowly progresses as subtle pads and short punchy kicks outline the build-up & breakdown, before the track jumps right into the drop, where listeners are met with bright signature future bass leads, warm basslines and double-tracked vocal hooks. Maintaining a similar formula throughout the song, Future Lion campaigns that repetition is catchy, more so than mundane.

Prior to the release of his latest single, Future Lion has garnered the support of Nicky Romero with previous music under an alternate alias. In his spare time, he puts his production skills to further use by composing music for various TV shows and commercials.
