It goes without saying that Above & Beyond‘s Group Therapy shows are amongst the best the world has seen. Not only do the trio – Tony McGuinness, Jono Grant, and Paavo Siljamäki – provide an eclectic blend of sound through their phenomenal sets, but the atmosphere and emotion is second to none. Priding themselves of bringing happiness through every avenue, the progressive trance producers don’t just have to consider their track selection, but also their locations. Touring the world is no barrier for Above & Beyond, and they select the finest venue’s across the world, from Creamfields’ gigantic Steel Yard structure – for their Common Ground tour – to Hong Kong’s Asia World-Expo – for ABGT300 – to the hugely loved Ziggo Dome, back during ABGT200. However, the stand out from their Group Therapy showcases was the breathtaking venue used for ABGT250: The Gorge Ampitheater, USA.

Looking back to the event would bring back only the most joyous of thoughts for attendees, as the spectacular showcase was a defining moment for many. With sets from Seven Lions & Jason Ross, Genix & Sunny Lax, Oliver Smith, Yotto, and Luttrell, the 8-hour event brought together fans from around the world, but it was undoubtably the British-Finnish trio of A&B that stole the show with a captivating 2-hour set. Coupling the powerful and well timed messages projected by A&B on the screen along with the backdrop that comes with The Gorge created something simply categorised as special. The type of event that you would never forget. Whether you watched from live streams, or attended, The Gorge holds a strong place in Anjuna hearts, and recent social media updates suggest that there may be a return some time soon. The caption included the following: “Some grist for the rumour mill! Keep July free.” Followed by a winky face emoji, and captioning a picture of The Gorge, you won’t be judged if you begin saving up for flights over to America now.

You can always count on the trio to deliver, and they don’t seem like the ‘clickbait’ type, so you can probably start to get excited for what is sure to be an incredible summer with Above & Beyond.
