Armin van Buuren’s iconic hit ‘Unforgivable’ turns 10 years old

Legendary DJ and producer Armin van Buuren has had an incredible start to 2019, releasing a new festival anthem in collaboration with W&W and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike ‘Repeat After Me‘ and officially selling out ASOT 900, which will see 35,000 trance music lovers from all over the world come together in Utrecht, Netherlands. Speaking about this achievement, Armin said:

“To be able to celebrate 900 episodes of A State Of Trance with a whopping 35.000 fans in a sold-out Jaarbeurs is truly a dream come true. I can’t wait to make some amazing memories with all of these wonderful people from all over the world!”

Armin will no doubt also be celebrating one of his most iconic and emotional tracks turning 10 years old. In January 2009, Armin van Buuren joined forces with Jaren for ‘Unforgivable’. The track came out on Armin’s label Armada Music together with a music video which has accumulated almost 18,000,000 views in these 10 years. ‘Unforgivable’ was part of Armin van Buuren’s third studio album ‘Imagine’, also featuring some timeless classics like ‘In and Out of Love‘ with Sharon den Adel and ‘Face to Face’. For many, the legendary album and this track served as an introduction to dance music and more specifically to the trance genre which has since touched the heart of millions of fans around the world.

On the track Armin shows all of the incredible talent he possesses in the studio in this outstanding production, masterfully combining the melodic elements with the Jaren’s spectacular vocal performance in a way which compliments it and allows it to stand out. The memorable melodies and the emotional lyrics make this a truly timeless record which we will be no doubt be listening to for many more years to come.
