What a start of the year this has been for superstar DJs Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. After their first collab of 2019 ‘Repeat After Me‘ along with Dutch producers W&W and the trance legend Armin van Buuren, they are back with new amazing news. The Belgian duo has provided the music for the first official gameplay trailer of Mortal Kombat 11, which will be out on April 23rd. The selected track couldn’t have been a better choice, with energetic anthem ‘You’re Next‘ together with Bassjackers, being the trailer protagonist. Without a doubt, one of the best Smash The House releases last year.

Dimitri was present at the revealing event that took place last Thursday in London. The ceremony was completed with the presence of big names including boxing star Chris Eubank Jr, Arsenal football players Mesut Özil and Sead Kolašinac and the UFC and WWE legend Ronda Rousey. They were all ready for the Mortal Combat celebrity head-to-head clash. Dimitri was able to reach the semi-finals beating the future house king, Don Diablo and losing later to the French Youtuber, Squeezie.

This is not the first time that we have seen the duo being involved in film entertainment. As actors, they appeared in the film ‘Patser‘ and they have also been credited for ‘Rise of the Living Dead‘, while Dimitri appeared in Jean Claude van Damme’s film, ‘Lucas‘. Musically, they not only have provided the soundtrack for Patser, but they also produced for the legendary movie Pirates of The Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge with their spectacular and majestic official remix of the original Hans Zimmer track ‘He’s A Pirate‘.

We don’t know if the brothers will be involved in more films but they’re definitely determined to make 2019 their year. And after just one month, we can’t deny they’re on the right track to achieving that goal.
