DJ Hollowbase – Hel!instpetersburg

Marking a return to the charts after a solemn yet short departure from the scene, Finnish performer and producer DJ Hollowbase is back in some style. The Helsinki based DJ/producer began his career in 2003, chipping away and honing his skills to make a niche for himself within Trance, which was then enjoying its heydays as the likes of Tiesto, Armin van Buuren and Solarstone led the genre. Performing at clubs and venues across Europe, DJ Hollowbase established himself as an artist and has also opened for acts such as Simon Pattersson and Belarusian DJ UCast. Back to the production desk nowadays, the veteran DJ and producer is set to release just his second Trance track titled ‘Hel!instpetersburg’ on Digital Evolution Records.

‘Hel!instpetersburg’ follows his 2017 release titled ‘Starter‘ in sumptuous fashion, as both releases stamp home his maestro-like stature in the genre. Released just last month, DJ Hollowbase’s second single is a ethereal Trance melody through and through, employing a sturdy beat-work and a thoroughly uplifting melody. As the overture makes its curtain call, the rousing melody begins the proceedings, launching us straight into the whirlwind of melodic knocks that zip past, one after another, to build the track. As it makes its case, the serenading production is proven to be a proud product of experience and panache.
