Le P – Coming Home

Home hot since 82 Le P – Coming Home

Norwegian talent Le P is back with another soothing piano ballad; ‘Coming Home’, alongside the Grammy-nominated Patrick ”J.Que” Smith. Le P, who put his name on the map by pioneering the early Tropical House movement alongside fellow Norwegians Kygo and Matoma, has since been making waves with remixes for the likes of MakoNew World Punx and Nature – amassing over 5.3 million streams in the process.

Describing his inspiration behind his newest track’s creation, Le P gave the following explanation;

“When making the track it all started as a piano ballad. I wanted to make something more downtempo. While it was a melancholic vibe to it, I wanted it to end on a happy note. Then I got the idea of rap verse with this uplifting melodic drop”.

Kicking off with a gentle piano accompanied by bongos, J. Que’s soothing vocals combine effortlessly, before guitars and pads add to the mix, creating warmth as the track seamlessly ascends to the chorus. As the chorus arrives, listeners are greeted with a bright guitar melody while pianos fill out the background, all whilst J. Que’s exuberant vocal range is exhibited, felicitously complimenting the track’s benign nature.

Following the same successful formula throughout the following verse, the track skies to another level, as an envigorating key-change elevates the track’s nature to a state of euphoria, exemplifying the happy tropical vibes that Le P has come to be known for.
