Rising dance music duo Nicholas Adams & Joachim Fields are no doubt one to look out for in the future. Despite their young age, they have already performed on some of Norway biggest club and festival stages several times. This spring, Nicholas Adams will be traveling to Venice, Italy to play at Carnevale Di Venezia and to Stockholm for X-Cruise. Nicholas has been resident in Hemsedal for the past two seasons, but for this winter you’ll be able to find him at Beitostølen. Joachim Fields has also been booked as a noticeable DJ at many big clubs, both high up in the mountains of Norway, and in many cities. The latter has been gaining some serious experience performing at a wide range of events including after-ski parties at Pers Gol and clubs music at Bar(t) Tønsberg and Z Drammen among others.
With their distinctive style and a clear eye to cater to any crowd, Nicholas Adams & Joachim Fields are able to create a party which is always unique and enjoyable. The duo also made history by becoming the first Norwegian act to play at the Ohrid Calling in Macedonia in 2018, where they played a warm-up set for none other than Armin van Buuren. Moreover, just this last December, the duo played at the famous ICON club in Boston, adding to their experiences across the globe.
Now, fresh from their production desk, they have just released their latest track titled ‘Visitors’, on One Shot Records. ‘Visitors’ is a unique and versatile track, building and expanding on the sound made popular by none other than Don Diablo. The atmosphere is set in the record by the use of a beautifully catchy vocal chop, which leads into a melodic section where the chops are accompanied by some interesting chord sounds. The track then generates a huge amount of tension which is released all at once into a spectacular drop, where melodic and rhythmic elements combine to give a powerful yet emotional sound which is perfect for the dance floor and for casual listening.
