Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – Selfish (feat. Era Istrefi)

With Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike best known for their usually thunderous big-room productions, the Belgian duo have taken a different route on new single ‘Selfish’, a melodic production featuring the vocals of popular songstress, Era Istrefi.

The Tomorrowland residents – who delivered their ‘Garden of Madness‘ residency to Ibiza last summer – are loved by fans for the massive floor-pounding beats of previous hits like ‘Mammoth’ and ‘Project T’ but they’ve added a downtempo tropical flavour to this one, even sampling the cult classic ‘Africa‘ by Toto during the track!

With Dimitri & Mike set to return to Ibiza this summer, the pair will also headline Tomorrowland once again during the 15th anniversary celebrations of the world’s biggest dance festival in Boom this July, where the famous ‘Book of Wisdom‘ theme is set to return! You can check out ‘Selfish’ below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Making the switch over from an established career in sports journalism to the world of dance music in 2016, Jake Gable has cemented a spot as one of the industry's most in-demand names during his tenure to date. Working on highly successful press campaigns for the likes of Tiësto, MK, and many more during his time at one of London's most premiere PR outfits, Gable has also proved his hand as a skilled journalist, interviewing acts such as Oliver Heldens, Martin Solveig, NERVO, and many more at international events like EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and Amsterdam Dance Event. Working tirelessly as the CEO & Founder of UK company The EVENT, Gable also doubles up as a tour manager, playlist curator, dance music influencer, and DJ, under his JK-GBL alias. Further adding strings to his bow as a freelance copywriter - where he has worked for numerous iconic artists such as Axwell, and labels, such as Third Party's Release Records - Gable is best known for producing two of the biggest editorials in We Rave You history; The first a breaking news story on Swedish House Mafia's return at Miami's Ultra Music Festival in 2018 (a world exclusive), and the second titled 'Avicii: The Truth...', an inquest into the EDM star's passing, published less than 24 hours after his death.
