W&W’s monumental Big Room anthem ‘Bigfoot’ turns 5 years old

Flashback to the summer of 2014: Germany has just won their 4th world cup, Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy’ was played everywhere around the world and one certain genre was on top of the Electronic Dance Music throne. Of course, we are talking about Big Room. Acts such as DVBBS, Ummet Ozcan, and Steve Aoki were dominating the mainstages of major festivals like Ultra Miami, EDC, and Tomorrowland with their massive bangers. One of the most prominent Big Room duo out there has been W&W. The Dutch duo is known for their extraordinary productions and are considered to be THE Big Room gods out there. One of their anthems ‘Bigfoot’ has turned 5 years old!

The track consists of a massive bassline, an easy to remember yet stunning melody and, of course, a drop that defined the Big Room era in 2014. ‘Bigfoot’ will forever be remembered as one of the most renowned W&W and Big Room tracks in general. It will surely be part of thousands of people’s playlist for years to come.

While the most glorious days of Big Room are over, W&W, amongst other artists, still hold the honor of Big Room high. One of the duos latest releases ‘Rave Culture’ proves that. Other artists that remained true to themselves are names such as Hardwell and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, names that collaborate with W&W on a regular basis.
