The story behind Avicii’s ‘SOS’ revealed

When news recently broke of new Avicii music being released soon, the whole world stopped still. Revealed on multiple news sources across the internet, the newest single would be titled “SOS” featuring the vocal talents of Aloe Blacc with an album following shortly behind and now, in an exclusive YouTube video released on Avicii’s official channel, fans can take a look at the behind the scenes story of “SOS”.

The nearly seven minute long video goes into great depth about how the track was born, starting off with interviews from co-songwriters and co-producers Kristoffer Fogelmark and Albin Nedler – both with a deep working relationship with Avicii, also known as Tim Bergling. Moving onto an interview with Aloe Blacc, he talks about their mega-hit “Wake Me Up” and shows a candid look into the creative production of “SOS”, featuring archive footage of Tim in his studio, tying together the stories told throughout the video.
