Dillon Francis announces new TV show ‘Gerald’s World’ with 20th Century Fox
Dillon Francis is teaming up with 20th Century Fox TV to mastermind a brilliant new animated comedy, ‘Gerald’s World’. The 31-year-old is just as much a comedian as he is a DJ & Producer, drawing more fans to his social media with his comedic Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube sketches. Francis is renowned for his genius alter-egos “DJ Hanzel” and “Emo Preston” and his unique relationship with his piñata side-kick, Gerald, is also no secret.
The multi-talented Californian is now set to take his four-legged friend to new heights, announcing, on Instagram, that “Gerald’s World” is currently in production:
“MAMA WE DID IT!! That’s right baby I’m developing an animated series called “Gerald’s World” w 20th Century Fox!!!! IM SO EXCITED!!!!”
The new TV show will delve into the life and antics of the mischievous piñata and other original characters we will likely meet along the way. Francis is to be the executive producer for the animated comedy, teaming up with writer Spencer Porter, who is famed for his work on “Family Guy”.
So far, there are little other details known about the show set to air with 20th Century Fox TV, but it will undoubtedly have us in stitches when it appears on our screens. Hopefully, it will see great success and send Gerald to super-stardom. In the coming months, we will be sure to keep you updated with everything “Gerald’s World”.
