Brasil has been flaunting its vast pool of talent as of late. São Paulo-based trio Make U Sweat and WOAK have teamed up on a brand new, hard-hitting Bass House track titled ‘Tig Tig’. With both acts each boasting large back catalogues of music, their latest collaboration has seen its release through Armada Music.
Combining Arabic and South American elements, the eclectic track opens up with an Arabian-inspired flute, before reverb and high-pass filter effects create the perfect tension builder, before the drop’s commanding Brazilian bassline and kick, take over. As the break arrives, the track’s tense atmosphere is maintained through chaotic vocal slices and pumping percussive bass, before a long-winded build-up leaves listeners with a hands-in-the-air type feeling, just as additional bass stabs add an extra element of grit to kick off the second drop.
Comprised of Dudu Linhares, Guga Guizelini and Pedro Almeida, Make U Sweat has been quickly rising up the ranks, going as far as performing at Ultra Music Festival Brasil! Meanwhile, WOAK’s previous works have caught the attention of artists such as Avicii, Party Favor and Dubdogz, just to name a few.
