Above & Beyond team up with Armin van Buuren for Ushuaïa takeover

Titans of trance Above & Beyond and Armin Van Buuren are teaming up over the summer at Ibiza’s most prestigious open-air club, Ushuaïa. That’s right trance fans pinch yourself because yes, this really is happening! Armin Van Buuren is no stranger to hosting some of the White Isle’s biggest productions over the years, with his residency at Hï last year drawing in the masses, and continuing to run during this season. Yet this huge collaboration between the Dutch DJ and trance trio Above & Beyond is guaranteed to attract thousands to the picturesque setting of Ushuaia for this one-off set. It’s been 4 years since Tony, Jono and Paavo took to the Ushuaïa stage at Ibiza Creamfields, making the return even more poignant for their overseas fans.

Since previewing their highly euphoric track ‘Show Me Love‘ back in February at ASOT 900, anticipation has been mounting for the Anjuna and Armada families, who have only dreamt about what a joint live show might be like between the trance giants. Speaking on the release back in March, Armin hoped that the track would help in “uniting fans from all over the world” and spark a “beautiful collaborative era” between the two respective labels.

Together with this empire of record labels under their belts, expect to hear some huge trance anthems alongside some of the best pyrotechnics in the business. Joining them in their one-off show, support comes from Ruben de Ronde and Estiva, who will play back-to-back. The two DJs often feature on the line-up of Armin Van Buuren’s weekly Wednesday night residency at Hï Ibiza, just across the street from Ushuaia, so expect to hear their individual sounds blend on the night.
