Home Uncategorized Ashley Wallbridge hospitalized after being diagnosed with meningitis

This week comes with sad news for the Trance community. The popular British DJ and producer Ashley Wallbridge has been hospitalised earlier this Monday after being diagnosed with a serious meningitis that has set him temporarily aside from the stages.

Even though, meningitis can hardly be a fatal or life-threatening disease, it can become extremely dangerous over time if not treated quickly. The meningitis is basically an infection affecting the protective membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord. On top of that, meningitis usually presents itself with a series of annoying negative secondary effects that can become permanent.

His close friend, the trance legend Gareth Emery, has released a statement on Instagram updating his fans about the physical condition of the Britishman, who currently “can’t move his legs at all”. Apart from that, Gareth has called Ashely one of the funniest guys you can ever meet as well as a super talented producer. Gareth took advantage of his social media reach to encourage all his followers to show some love, support, positive energy and wishes for his fellow colleague.

Gareth and Ashley have been long-time friends and both have been involved in important projects together co-producing and collaborating in a wide variety of tracks. They even own the trance record label Garuda, which they created back in 2008. Since then, both artists have released a considerable amount of all their tracks under this brand.

We wish Ashley Wallbridge a full and speedy recovery and hope to see him very soon back on tour playing massive tracks like his recently released song Diamonds.
