One of Creamfields’ staple acts is the mega talented Oliver Heldens. Year after year he delivers impressive sets to the busy crowds that flock to see him at the huge UK festival and it would seem suitable to call Creamfields a secondary home to him. This year, Heldens set out to dominate the Horizon Stage, one out of two of Creamfields’ big outdoor main stages, on Sunday 25 August and he did exactly that.

Stepping out in front of the large crowd who had gathered just for him, Oliver Heldens played a set that would become of the highlights of the weekend. Starting off strong with an incredible mashup of staple Heldens hit ‘Koala’, he then went into one of the biggest tunes of the year by no other than Axwell himself, ‘Nobody Else’. Showing a large amount of diversity with his tracklist, he even delved into techno with the Charlotte De Witte remix of ‘Space Raiders’ by Eats Everything which proved to go down extremely well with the lively crowd. Playing classic hits with a new vibe such as Dr. Dre’s ‘The Next Episode’ (Liu remix) and Axwell & Dirty South’s classic remix of ‘Sweet Disposition’ injected a nostalgic vibe into the set with a modern feeling attached to it to appeal to all kinds of music lovers.
