Former Swedish House Mafia manager Amy Thomson has cancelled her ‘Mind Your Own Business School’ for this year. After last year’s inaugural edition in London, 2019 was set to feature the course in Los Angeles, London & Stockholm across 3 consecutive weeks, however, Amy Thomson has shut down the school for 2019.

In a quick press release sent to would-be students, Amy cited personal reasons as the motivation behind the sudden announcement:

“I am so sorry but I have decided after much deep thought that MYOB 2019 will be cancelled.  Its been such a long year and im taking a break in the Autumn I don’t feel I will be able to give it all of the emotion and passion I gave to 2018. I will keep you posted if I do one in 2020, and I am very sorry if you made plans around taking time out for this one. I was a very hard decision but I need to do what I know is right” [sic]

The 5-day course was set to teach students the ins & outs of the music industry, touching on everything from artist management to syncing & publishing. MYOB was also benefiting a good cause on the side, with proceeds announced to have gone towards climate change investments.

For more information, see the course’s website here.
