Armin van Buuren announces new album release during his Electric Zoo set

Armin van Buuren has been unstoppable lately. The Dutch king of trance is not short on releasing new content; he recently hit us up with the latest addition to his A State Of Trance mix album series: ‘A State Of Trance, Ibiza 2019’, released a 6 episode documentary – a youtube mini-series called ‘Armin van Buuren is Mr. Perfect’ – that lets us have an insight in his early music career, and besides all that, he keeps on delievering unique sets during his Ibiza residency, as well as for his ASOT radio show, and dominates the stages of the most remarkable festivals.

His latest appearance was at Electric Zoo, one of New York City’s biggest electronic dance music scenes, where he made a very exciting announcement: 9 minutes into his set, when the fourth song came up (which is one of his brand new IDs), he took the microphone to say:

“Hey, New York, can I share a little secret? I’m dropping my new album next month and this is some of the music from it. Are you ready for this Electric Zoo?”

The new track has a powerful vocal takeover that is in perfect harmony with Armin’s signature trance build-ups. The name that the magical voice belongs to is unknown as of yet, but we have a feeling that soon more information will see the light of day and we are really looking forward to hear the full song!

Throughout his emotional set, he teased us with some more IDs, however, he also included classics like ‘Lifting You Higher’, that got a phenomenal remix by Blasterjaxx earlier this year and he mixed in his recent releases such as ‘La Résistance De L’Amour’ and ‘Something Real’.
