Avicii grabs the prize for We Rave You Awards 2019

Recently, we organized a new segment on our Instagram known as the We Rave You Awards. The format of the awards was based on a knockout tournament of 16 participants. The 16 participants were the artists who ranked from 1 to 16 on the DJ Mag Rankings 2018. The tournament kicked off on 10th October 2019 and concluded after a total of 15 matches. More than 15000 votes were cast during the tournament &  at the end of the intense tournament Avicii has been crowned the winner of We Rave You Awards 2019 based on the vote count.

Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Tiesto, Don Diablo, Afrojack, Oliver Heldens, Marshmello, Steve Aoki, R3hab, Alok, W&W, Avicii & DVBBS were a part of the We Rave You tournament and seeded on the basis of their rankings last year. The tournament was filled with exciting clashes between the industry maestros.

With only a day remaining to the announcement of the rankings of DJ Mag 2019, it would be interesting to see who grabs the number one spot tomorrow. The no.1 DJ will grab his award at the award ceremony tomorrow at the Amsterdam Music Festival.
