Basto – Here With You (Play It Again) (feat. Nat Conway)

Belgian DJ and producer Jef Martens, has produced under many aliases such as Bitch Boys, Candyman, Dirty Bunch, DJ Basik, Felix Project, Jin Sonic, Kings of Porn, and Lazy Jay, but the one that his most known for is Basto. He is a true pioneer of dance music and after announcing his comeback from retirement last year the artist has been keeping himself pretty busy lately, preparing new music for his audience. He is best known for his earlier work between 2010 and 2013 like ‘Again & Again’ and ‘Gregory’s Theme’, which had a big influence on the electronic music scene that we know today. His latest release ‘Here With You’ is actually a vocal rework of his track ‘Play It Again’, which he released earlier this year. It features beautiful vocals delivered by Australian singer and songwriter Nat Conway, who previously collaborated with Basto on his track ‘I Got You’.

‘Here With You (Play It Again)’ is a nice melodic, progressive house track, that takes us back to the golden days of EDM, infused by synths similar to Avicii‘s it really creates an euphoric atmosphere while you listen to it. Energetic beats that will definitely make you move, topped up with mysterious vocals and catchy lyrics. Basto showed us once again why he is referred to as one of the greatest dance music producers of his time. There is definitely more music coming our way in the upcoming months and with the return of Swedish House Mafia, the progressive house might finally rise again.
