After a 3 year streak at the top, Martin Garrix has finally been dethroned of his Number 1 DJ title by the Belgian duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. The two brothers have regained the title of DJ Mag Top 100 #1 DJs 2019 by winning the poll for the second time, rising one spot from last year’s list to pass Martin Garrix, ending the Dutch DJ’s three-year stint at the spot. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are the only artists from their country to have gained this honour.

DVLM – as they are more commonly known – released a hoard of tracks and performed numerous shows all across the globe throughout the year, with their most notable performance coming when they teamed up with Steve Aoki to revive their old group ‘3 Are Legend’ to close the Tomorrowland Main Stage on both weekends. Releases came thick and fast on both their own Smash The House label and others, as well as hosting their label stage at Tomorrowland alongside a busy year long schedule.

Dutchmen Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, and Marshmello round out the Top 5 of the DJ Mag poll, which was just unveiled during the Amsterdam Music Festival, marking the biggest night of Amsterdam Dance Event 2019. Industry maestros Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, Tiësto, Afrojack and Steve Aoki round out the top ten of the Top 100 list, with many other big names featuring further down the rankings. The DJ Mag Top 100 list is filled with some new names of artists from all across the globe, a few old favourites, and features some massive rises and falls, so go and check out the complete DJ Mag Top 100 2019 list here.
