Laidback Luke & Pyrodox – Keep On Rockin’ (Rimnes Bootleg)

Laidback Luke & Pyrodox’s ‘Keep On Rockin” was a huge success at the time of release. Released on Mixmash records, it was an explosive record for the summer and even sparked an official remix contest for producers to show off their talents, but there’s a particular artist who has put his own spin on it and completely stands out. Rimnes is an up-and-coming producer based in Queens, New York City who is always determined to be constantly evolving his style and his unique brand. Self-educating himself for years until he was ready to grow his career, his true passion for the industry and electronic music is the driving force behind doing what he does. Big room, progressive house and groove/funk house are the genres he knows best, and loves to delve deep into the production and creation process of these genres.

Rimnes’ bootleg of ‘Keep On Rockin” is nothing short of fantastic. Something that both Laidback Luke and Pyrodox would surely be impressed by, he has managed to turn the tune on its head whilst simultaneously not letting go of any of the magic captured in the original fan favourite. Deserving of being played out at the biggest festivals, it could work for a mainstage or an intimate club setting too. The drop is nothing short of energetic and is a perfect indicator as to what Rimnes can do with his self-made skills.
