Major Lazer & Khalid release their fresh collaboration ‘Trigger’

Jamaican-American dance music trio Major Lazer (Diplo, Walshy Fire and Ape Drums) joined forces with talented singer and songwriter Khalid on their brand new track ‘Trigger’. It will be released as a part of the forthcoming Sony’s PlayStation 4 console game Death Stranding original soundtrack on November 7th.

Major Lazer never disappoint with their collaborations and this time they managed to amaze us in a brand new way. A calm, soft ballad, combined with energetic dancehall rhythms, melodic synths, topped up with truly magical vocals delivered by Khalid. The song is just the right amount of mysterious and powerful, as it speaks to your heart with its moody, catchy lyrics about a failed relationship and heartbreak.

People have created “Walls” and become accustomed to living in isolation. Death Stranding is a completely new type of action game, where the goal of the player is to reconnect isolated cities and a fragmented society. It is created so that all elements, including the story and gameplay, are bound together by the theme of the “Strand” or connection. As Sam Porter Bridges, you will attempt to bridge the divides in society, and in doing create new bonds or “Strands” with other players around the globe. Through your experience playing the game, I hope you’ll come to understand the true importance of forging connections with others.
